Whether for a motor or sailing yacht, we provide boat / marine insurance for all types of vessels. This includes policies which are suitable for casual local sailors, cruising in the channel islands and adjacent French coast, through to those hardy souls tackling the deep blue either solo, or as part of the ARC or similar. Whether boat insurance is a legal requirement for your type of vessel or not, it’s a critical safety element to ensure you’re covered in the event of an incident occurring. Our Chairman is himself a keen sailor, he has completed the ARC, and the dreaded Biscay several times, so knows the value and peace of mind an insurance policy can bring. We use a select number of insurance providers, insurers who can and do understand the boat insurance market well and can provide a good array of policy options and extensions.

What sort of policy options are available?

We know that every client has individual demands and we ensure that the cover in place is best suited to your particular specifications. We are able to cover a wide range of vessels against any possible risk so you are shipshape and set to sail! Discounts are available for no previous claims and RYA qualifications. In addition, usage and voyage duration plus limitations to coastal waters can all make a premium more competitive.
